HomeBuyer Program

Habitat for Humanity builds houses for low-income families. And their HomeBuyers program prepares those families for the social and financial responsibilities of owning their own homes, e.g., financial literacy, budget development, etc.

BiGAUSTIN

Training, technical assistance, and access to marketing and lending resources for low-income, minority, and/or female small business owners.
Providing agency: Business Invest in Growth, Inc.

Job Source Ready to Work

Assists individuals who have barriers to employment with finding and retaining jobs through the development of job readiness skills, job placement, and retention support
Providing agency: Goodwill Industries of Central Texas

Steps to Success

Addresses poverty through the provision of safe, supported housing, emergency financial assistance, independent living skills, job training, etc.. Focuses on families affected by teen parenthood, individuals without a high school education, and young adults "aging" out of foster care.

Financial Stability

Provides a continuum of services including the Community Tax Centers, quality affordable rental housing, financial education and homeownership classes, college credit courses, and Individual Development Accounts (IDAs).
